Ms. Leslie Weaver

I grew up in Columbus, Indiana, graduated from North High School and went to Purdue University for Art Education. I obtained my Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan. I now have over two decades of experience teaching experience in BCSC. My classroom is a place where craftsmanship and personal expression are encouraged, and where students are free to be themselves without judgement.

Outside school, I love spending time with my family and friends, exercise and running, and keeping up with my business, L Design & Illustration. Creativity has always been at the center of my life, and I believe art has the power to connect people, tell meaningful stories, and make a positive impact on our community. Teaching allows me to combine everything I love, art, education, and mentorship, while helping students discover what’s possible when creativity meets purpose.
