Summer Art Camp

The CNHS Kids Summer Art Camp offers young artists an engaging, hands-on creative experience led by the Columbus North High School Art Department. Throughout the week, students rotate daily through drawing and painting, ceramics and sculpture, and jewelry making, spending focused time with teachers who specialize in each area. Designed for students in grades 1–8 and grouped by age, the camp provides a supportive, inspiring environment where creativity and exploration are encouraged.

By the end of the week, campers leave with an impressive collection of artwork, including a ceramic piece, a sculpture, multiple drawings and paintings, and several handmade jewelry pieces.
This year's camp will run June 1–5 from 9am–12pm, with snacks and drinks provided each day. Limited scholarships are available to help make the experience accessible to more families. It’s a fun, enriching way for kids to explore a variety of art forms, build confidence, and create meaningful work to take home and be proud of.
