Ms. Janet Randazzo

I am a dedicated art instructor with 22 years of experience guiding young artists through the formative years of middle school in North Carolina and currently inspiring high school artists in Drawing, Painting, and Creative Photography at Columbus North High School.

I graduated in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Art Education and Art History Minor from Indiana State University. In 2018, I earned a National Board Certification in Secondary Art Education.

Beyond the classroom, I spend time with my children, boyfriend, and dog. I enjoy traveling, DIY projects, reading, and gardening.  I also dedicate time to creating watercolor paintings.  This journey as an educator and artist influences my art, which focuses on the interplay of textures, colors, transparent washes, and playful line quality. I find peace and focus in the process of flowing watercolor washes and balancing this with the control of pens.
